Iris Lama, RMT is deeply passionate about helping every client reach their health and wellness goals. Using personalized treatments and a holistic approach to her work, Iris fully attends to each client’s individual needs, beautifully interweaving clear presence with practiced skill.
Iris is experienced with numerous treatment modalities including deep tissue, Swedish, trauma touch, sports, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and external and internal TMJ.
Iris first earned her bachelor’s degree in Tourism and was then drawn to health and fitness. In 2006 she earned a double certification as both a registered massage therapist with 1000 hours of instruction to receive her certification from the Colorado School of Healing Arts and as a personal trainer from NASM. In 2010 she earned her lymphedema therapist certification from Klose Training. She also completed advanced training in oncology and sports massage, as well as a certification for trauma touch. Iris was recognized as the 2010 Student of the Year in Physical Massage Therapy by the Colorado Association of Career Colleges and Schools. In her free time, Iris enjoys her children and friends, gym workouts, mountain biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing in the beautiful outdoors.
